​What is CaringPlace of the Shoals?

CaringPlace is a non-profit organization operating an Adult Day Service program for Clients with memory loss due to Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders, as well as older adults who are frail and/or functionally impaired without memory loss. Participants enjoy music, art, fitness, reminiscing, and many mini-activities while making new friends and sharing the day.



Who watches after my loved one?

Our on-site staff consists of a director, registered nurse, personal care & certified nurse assistants, and activity leaders. By using Montessori-inspired dementia programming, CaringPlace staff are able to provide a sense of belonging, build friendships with others, and enhance quality of life for those who might otherwise feel isolated, lonely, or depressed.
