In true Jimmy Buffett fashion, we have combined a full weekend of Margaritaville fun!

Friday June 14th at 7:30 pm come and watch the documentary on the life of Jimmy Buffett on the big screen at Shoals Theater. Tickets for the documentary only are $10. Several local restaurants will be offering Margaritaville style menus and drinks, so don’t miss the fun!

Saturday June 15th Mobile Street will be closed off at 5:00 so that we can have a scavenger hunt for the “lost Shaker of Salt” and enjoy cheeseburgers in paradise courtesy of Chef Alan Phillips and First Presbyterian Church, Florence. A cheeseburger, chips, key lime cookie, bottled water and all the fixings including Heinz 57 and a big Kosher pickle are $10 and should be purchased at the time you buy your concert tickets.

At 7:30 On June 15th some of Muscle Shoals’ finest musicians will be performing Jimmy’s greatest songs at the Shoals Theater. Performers will include Will McFarlane, Bob Wray, Justin Holder, Wayne Chaney, Steve Price, Marie Lewey, Cindy Walker, Clayton Ivey, Lenny LeBlanc, and others. Tickets for the concert only are $50.

Full concessions including beer, wine, margaritas, daiquiris, and pina coladas will be available for both indoor and outdoor enjoyment on June 15th.

 

Guitars signed by Mac McAnally, cookbooks signed by Lulu (Jimmy’s sister) and even a Jimmy Buffett themed Adirondack chair painted by Tommy Mathis will be available for silent auction bidding. There will also be themed T-shirts available for purchase.

 

Proceeds equally benefit three great nonprofits: The Healing Place, CaringPlace of the Shoals, and Shoals Community Theater.
